Passion may diminish in many partnerships as time goes by. For most Germans, this doesn’t seem to be a problem though: According to a survey published by the magazine "For You" with the participation of 1048 women and men between 30 and 60 years, more than half of the participants indicated that they are happy even with less sex. Only eleven percent see lack of sex as a fundamental reason for separation. At least 49 percent of the survey participants believe, however, that lack of passion can lead to secret affairs. Participants tend to blame the opposite sex for the slowdown in bed: 58 percent of the women believe that their partner has less desire over the course of time. 53 percent of men believe exactly the opposite.

Chinese specialists aim to boost up the sex life of pandas with ambitious and exacting sex training exercises. At the Panda Breeding and Research Centre in Chengdu in the Sichuan province, male pandas were lured with an apple to stand up and walk, reported the newspaper "China Daily". By walking on two legs, the hips and pelvic muscles strengthened and the desire of male pandas awakened. As another measure, male pandas were sent to the caves of females to get familiar with their odour and be brought in the right mood.

According to the report, through these measures the love life of pandas in Chengdu actually become more active: More than 30 percent of the animals in the research centre have had sex. Ten years ago there were only ten percent. Another method which proved to be successful, is to show sexually inexperienced pandas videos of other pandas having sexual intercourse. The black bears, one of the national symbols of China, are in danger of extinction: According to Chinese figures, nearly 1600 live in the wild, more than 250 animals are accommodated in zoos in China and worldwide.

Especialistas chinos han iniciado un ambicioso proyecto para impulsar la vida sexual de los pandas. The applicant at the Regional Court of Stuttgart was a 19-year-old woman, who offered one-night stands in virtual auction houses. After she became pregnant with somebody she had met this way, the girl demanded the data about the father. In this context, the court ruled that the auction contract is not immoral, and thus the online market place had to give the woman the contact details of the six potential bidders.

French women have caught up in their sex life in the past decades and are more similar to male behavior each time. This is the conclusion of a nationwide study by French Health and Population researchers, which was published in excerpts by the magazine "Nouvel Observateur". French women today have had significantly more sexual partners during their lives than they did 30 years ago, among other things. While the average in 1970 was two men, 50-year-old women today have had sex with five men. But this is still less than the male average: Men then, and today, declared to have had sex with 13 women.
